My love for photography started back in high school in a 35mm film class. We experimented with digital too, but film was where everything clicked for me.

Somewhere along the way, all of my gear was stolen right out of the classroom. Just like that, my dream of becoming a photographer was put on pause. Years later, Christmas of 2018, my husband surprised me with a camera, my first one in years. I had been talking nonstop about wanting to photograph couples and weddings, but the fear of starting and the cost of diving in always held me back. He believed in me before I believed in myself.

For me, photography isn’t just about taking pretty pictures, it’s about building real friendships and making sure you have the best experience possible. This is about the soft in-between moments, the laughter that fills a room, the tears you let fall freely, the way your hands naturally find each other. I’m here for you from start to finish, making sure your wedding day feels like and is the best day of your life.

I go into every wedding day with intention, paying attention to the quiet moments and the ones that take your breath away. My hope is that when the final gallery arrives, we are not just parting ways, but carrying a friendship forward. I want you to look at your photos years from now and smile knowing that a friend was the one who documented the most meaningful day of your life.

Hey there, I'm Dana

LET'S BE FRIENDS!

let's get to know each other

WHAT INSPIRES ME

Photography has always been a part of me, but what really made me want to be a wedding photographer? Meeting my husband.

I wish I had even thought about having someone capture moments of us before we got engaged—just because. No big reason, no milestone, just a way to document us in that chapter of life. And that’s why I firmly believe you don’t need a special occasion to take professional photos with your person. Like… why not? It gets you both out of your comfort zone, and I can promise you, we’re gonna have a great time.

where i'm from

I’m from Arizona, born and raised in the valley, in Mesa to be exact. After spending seven years away while my husband served in the Air Force, we finally made our way back home. Those years living in Louisiana and North Dakota taught me how much I cherish being close to family and how deeply I missed AZ.

Being away made me realize how much beauty I took for granted here , the desert tones, the crisp air up north, and the feeling of home that only Arizona has. Now, capturing that beauty through my work feels personal. Every wedding and every love story I photograph is a way of honoring this place and the people who make it feel like home.

I’ve always known there’s magic in the little moments, but it wasn’t until I became a mom that I really understood the depth of it all.

Suddenly, it was the small things, the quick glances, those quiet in-between moments that meant the most.

A photograph isn’t just about freezing a moment. It’s about bringing you back to the feeling, the love, the laughter, and all that the moment held. Documenting my family and my daughter through her life so far has brought me with so much joy and reminds me of the true magic and meaning behind this craft.

I married my best friend after meeting him twice. Yep.. twice. And both times? Maybe eight hours total.

It started when one of my best friend's in the Air Force mentioned a guy named Connor. He saw a picture of me and said, “I bet she’s cute, huh?” I went to go visit my friend one weekend and I was supposed to meet Connor as well. Well, we didn’t meet that weekend because his squadron got in trouble, rude. But a few months later, he found my Snapchat, and the rest is history.

I drove eight hours to meet him, and our first day felt straight out of a movie, breakfast, the aquarium (where I almost broke his nose during our first kiss—oops), then the beach. When he moved to Louisiana, I followed my gut, packed up, and went too. A month later, we eloped in the living room of the sweetest old lady. Two years later, we celebrated again in Julian, CA, surrounded by friends and family.

Since then, we’ve built a home (literally) in North Dakota, and in 2024, we headed back to Arizona just in time to welcome our baby girl, Rhya.

I’m sharing this because I get it. I know what it feels like to find your person and just know. So on your wedding day, I’ll be there— cheering you on, handing you tissues, and probably tearing up behind the camera.

Let’s document your love story, just as it unfolds— honest, emotional, and completely yours.

I believe the most powerful moments between couples are the quiet, intimate ones. The unspoken connections and the simple gestures that happen when no one’s watching. These are the moments that tell the real story of who you are together.

I don’t just want to capture your wedding day; I want to preserve the raw, authentic love you share. It’s those intimate, fleeting moments that truly show your bond, and that’s what I strive to capture for you, memories that bring you back to those real, beautiful moments.
