I never share them often and I do believe this is the first time I’m a sharing a family session! So that’s exciting! I really want to start sharing my family sessions because it is something I do truly enjoy!
Casey & Chase welcomed their precious baby boy, Brixton in February. I seriously was so happy for them. I previously have shared their wedding and these two have become good friends of mine so when they told me they were waiting for me to get back into town to take their family photos it seriously was just a moment for me that just reminded why I absolutely love what I do. If you’re interested in seeing their magical wedding day here is the blog to that! Click me!
We went ahead and did an in home family session because with a new born that’s just easiest for everyone + why not capture this special moments in the house you’ll be creating memories for, for years to come?
Family shoots always feel so intimate because it is just you, your husband or wife, and your kiddo(s). They’re just as important as finding your perfect wedding photographer. These are photos you will have forever and not only for yourself but to also share with your kids as they get older. I know a lot of people can be scared to do them because they never know how their baby or kids are going to behave. But I truly believe in embracing the chaos. I’m about documenting you so why put on this show that isn’t your family? Believe it or not family sessions are always a blast, for everyone!
Family shoots don’t only have to be an in home session! We can also do them in a studio or outside at your favorite location!
It was a gloomy day out and these just turned out so dreamy! Take a look! (insert crying happy face here)
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, please always include your pets! They’re family too! I will never tell you no to including them!
