Anna and Dan had the most magical garden party inspired wedding in North Dakota.

When Anna reached out to me to shoot their wedding I was SO EXCITED. Anna is from New York and Dan is from North Dakota. They wanted their wedding to have aspects from New York but also aspects of North Dakota. The amount of thought and detail that went into their day was so perfect.

Anna and Dan booked me a little over a year out from their wedding date. So that gave us plenty of time to chat and get to know each other. I ended up taking a trip to NYC in May of 2023 and I was lucky enough that I was able to meet these two for dinner one night. After dinner I left and was even MORE excited for the day. It was super awesome being able to hear all the details and everything they had planned and then seeing it all come together…. WOW.

As soon as I arrived on their day I was like “WOW, this is the most Vogue, French, countryside, garden party, NYC, ND inspired wedding!”

Anna wanted the day to feel very documentary and we all know that is right up my alley. Anna and Dan opted for not having their bridal party referred to as their bridal party but their Wildflowers. This was the cutest freakin’ thing ever.

I could go on forever about Anna and Dan’s day. From their details, first look, the ceremony all the way to the reception and everything that happened in between you could just tell how much though was put into everything.

Forever wishing I could re-do this day with them.
