Lake Darling Engagement.

I love that I live in North Dakota. It truly has so many beautiful places to offer, I really do not care what anyone says. LOL.
Lake Darling is a popular spot in Minot! It’s located just about 25 minutes north of base! So it is super convenient to get to as it’s just a straight shot there! I was so happy when Em and John picked this spot for their engagement photos. If you know me you know that I am OBSESSED with the ” tall, wheat lookin’ grass. ” I just love being in big open space that really capture the scenery around you. I feel like it brings a different kind of story to your photos.

I’ve actually known Em for the past 7 years, she is one one of my best friends. My husband and I actually are the ones who introduced these two together. To say the least they hit it off! I’ve been able to follow their journey this entire time. From Em visiting me when I lived in Louisiana. To her moving to Louisiana from Arizona, and then all of us ending up here in North Dakota together.

It’s a different kind of heart warming feeling, watching your best friend fall in love. I get to capture their wedding in April 2023 in our home town of Arizona. I truly couldn’t be more honored to capture this day for them. So stay tuned for that blog. 😉
