Couples Session in Louisiana

I always love doing couples session. This one in particular took place in Shreveport, LA.

As a lot of you know I lived in Shreveport for 4 years. I do still head back there frequently for weddings and sessions, so.. don’t forget to hit a girl up! 😉

Zaynah and Derick wanted to just do a casual session of them running around downtown and being in love. I truly was so excited. Downtown sessions are some of my absolute favorites. If you love just the ‘ grunginess ‘ that a downtown session can be, then it’s totally your vibe. The next best thing to having your shoot anywhere in downtown is that there is bound to be great food around!

Not every session do you have to be all dressed to the nine’s. If you want, wear your old pair of vans, converse, or your old dr. martens and just a black tee and some ripped skinny jeans. THEN DO IT! Your session is all about you two and your supposed to be having fun and comfortable while doing so.

As we got to talking we figured out that we all grew up in the same town in Arizona! What a small world. It’s so mind blowing to me how many awesome couples this job has connected me with and realizing how close some of us all are.
