Lodge on The Desert was the perfect combination of a Spanish and modern wedding mixed into one. Dianna and Mack booked me a little over a year ago for their wedding that was this past March. Their engagement session included us running around Saguaro National Park and we had the best time.
Dianna & Mack are one of those couples that LOVE to have fun together and you can seriously tell how much they love one another just being around them.
We all vibed so incredibly well together and even months after their wedding we still talk to this day.
I always start every wedding day with getting their a little extra early just so I can say hey to everyone and make sure I have enough time to set up my gear and get started on details with plenty of time.
Their wedding truly felt like I was just hanging out with a bunch of my friends. We all had such a blast being together.
Just to sum up the day and how perfect it was, they had friends and family their supporting them and showering them in the utmost kind of love. The florals, the venue, the food, the dancing and everything in between was truly perfect.
I could truly go on how perfect their day was but what better way than to just show you?
This amazing day wouldn’t of been able to happen without these amazing vendors!

I cannot say enough HOW MUCH I love when brides gift a boudoir book to their love as their wedding gift. It will go down as one of my favorite things is to capture their reaction.
Not only are first look’s with your love so sweet and special but doing a first look with your bridal party is also so damn sweet.
Dianna and Mack also took this moment to read private vows to each other + take a celebratory shot and I’m not going to lie.. I was SOBBING.
Lodge On The Desert has so many different places to take portraits at! We all knew the obvious choice for the majority of their portraits was the cactus garden!
Dianna and Mack wanted to have cocktail hour with everyone prior to the ceremony. It was honestly so cool that they did! This gave for a lot more time after their ceremony for them to just enjoy the rest of their wedding day.
After cocktail hour they went ahead and started to prep for the ceremony. Dianna ended up walking down the isle herself and Mack met her half way down. They ended up walking up the isle together and there was not a dry eye in the room.
Little tip- to maybe avoid guests having their cellphones out during the ceremony, take moment before hand to pose for a shot so everyone can get that! Then ask everyone to put their phones away. (like I said.. this may or may not work but MIGHT help.. lol).
Before I just casually add these next photos in here- Dianna’s grandparents unfortunately could not make it their wedding and Mack decided to surprise her in the middle of their first dance with a video from them. All I can say is, is that yet again. NOT A DRY EYE IN THE ROOM.
Before I took off for the night, I snuck these two away for some flash photos around the lodge and wow. It was so worth it.
D + M,
I seriously wish you both nothing but so much love, laughter, and happiness for the rest of your lives. I can’t thank you enough for letting me be apart of your special day.

Much love,
D
