North Dakota Engagement Session

This North Dakota engagement session will always be one for the books. Emma + Dalin wanted to do their photos as soon as the snow melted and that wasn’t until mid April here, but nonetheless it was the best damn time. We ran around this open field at the lake and it was such a FUN SESSION.

These two trusted me and trusted my ideas and it felt like we were just friends hanging out. We ran around, we joked, and we laughed.

I will never stop expressing how important engagement sessions are for you and your love. For starters, it’s the best reason to buy some new outfits and make it a date night. Most couples also haven’t had professional photos done until their engagement photos so this is an awesome time for you both to get comfortable in front of the camera. In general, it’s an awesome way for you to bond with your photographer.

Something about this North Dakota engagement session was extra special to me. Maybe it is because the snow all just FINALLY melted but I left this session with the warmest feeling in my heart and I can’t thank Emma + Dalin enough for being the sweet and generous humans that they are.
